The Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan lets you use doctors and hospitals in or out of the Aetna Medicare network.
While you are not required to use Aetna network doctors, you may want to see if they are in the Aetna Network. You may pay more if you use an out-of-network provider. If you need help submitting a claim for a provider that is out of network, we can help. If your doctor is not in network, they may have questions about submitting a claim. Don't see your doctor?
Though your plan is changing, chances are you may be able to continue seeing your doctors. This is because your new plan is the Medicare Open Access PPO.
You have freedom of access and pay the same cost for any doctor or hospital, whether they are on the provider list or not, according to the costs listed on your plan benefits summary. The provider must be eligible to receive Medicare payment and accept your plan. 99.79% of providers used by REHP members already accept the plan.
